SW18 Wandsworth

Grosh Construction Ltd created a unique kitchen and dining area side extension with roof glazing and a Douglass fir frame. We worked closely with the Architect to make a beautiful space where the family could eat and spend time together.

Brickwork to the external elevation, including Terracotta Slips to line the rear door, external alcove, and the kitchen window’s lower external walls, complement the original historic structure.

Our joinery team crafted clear-grade Douglas fir post rafters and shelves in the dining area adding integrity and richness suitable for this part of the house.

Barn Glass fixed triple-glazed roof lights illuminate the area and add a sculptural element to the design.

We were also thrilled to do internal finishes and decorating of the ground floor. Installation of engineering floorboards Oak Grey White Oiled is an elegant option carefully tailored to the lifestyle and taste of the owner. The final result is a bright kitchen with a big window facing the garden.

The owner hired us to renovate the first-floor shower room as well. It is now a characterful bright space that fits the owner’s needs and desires.

After we completed the project, this home ended up with a better connection with the backyard, more natural light, and ample shelving space.

We were very fortunate to find the Grosh Construction Company. After a bad experience with another builder, Grosh took over the extension of our kitchen at very short notice. From the start he was meticulous in his work and he continued to manage the rest of the project with great skill and efficiency. The site was always kept well organised and clean, materials arrived on time and his employees demonstrated considerable skill in their work.

We were delighted with the end result, the very high quality of the work and the relatively stress free experience. We have no hesitation in strongly recommending the Grosh Construction Company.
